Cast iron banks, building banks, advertising banks, pottery or ceramic banks, glass banks, pocket banks, registering banks.  Or maybe you like lead banks, piggy banks or Banthrico banks.  Do you collect or have an interest in any of these or other penny coin bank varieties?  If so please read on. The Still Bank Collectors Club of America or the SBCCA, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1966. Our membership consists of nearly 500 collectors from the United States, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Australia and England. This active organization of members works together, constantly expanding the availability and knowledge of still banks.

The objectives of the organization are to stimulate the knowledge of, interest in and the collecting of antique and contemporary still banks, and to assist members in adding to and enhancing the value of their collections of banks. What is my bank worth you may ask?  This site is unable to respond directly to individual requests for valuations, general information or research.  The SBCCA does however offer resources freely to members via the online member's website and a quarterly magazine. In addition, a yearly convention provides lectures from expert collectors, home visits, buying and selling of banks, along with a variety of other activities designed to promote the hobby of bank collecting.  You will soon discover that being a member of this club will greatly add to your knowledge of your banks.  With the help of the club you will soon be able to determine what your bank is worth.  Want to sell your bank?  Members are able to buy and sell banks on the Member's Website.
