Convention 2023 Auction Results

This year, 119 lots were offered for sale by 22 consignors and 93 lots (78.2%) were sold. This was a significant increase from the 2022 Philadelphia convention auction, where 100 lots were offered for sale and only 46 lots (46.0%) were sold. The more common banks continue to be sold at very reasonable prices with most lots selling for less than $100. This continues to provide an excellent buying opportunity for the newer collectors.

The club raised $205 from the auction, including auction fees that were donated back to the club. The club also raised an additional $630 from the proceeds of the auction items donated to the club by members including a group of eight lots of banks donated by Steven and Leon Weiss of RSL Auction Co.
